Pinkle Toes Reunion 2015 in Charleston, SC Blog Circle - Wilmington NC, Lifestyle Photographer

Back in May I met up with some fellow Pinkle Toes Workshop alumnae as well as our respected mentor, Michele Anderson of Pinkle Toes Photography, for some relaxation, time to explore a new city, sample some good eats, and ofcourse talk a little shop....because that is inevitable when you get a group of photographers together ;)  Today we are all publishing some images from our trip so at the end of the post please hop on over to the next blog post in our blog circle :)

This year the reunion was in Charleston, SC and although I have visited the city a few times before it was nice to do it with a group of girls and do things I hadn't done before.  Some highlights of our trip included:

*Good eats at places such as: Cru Cafe, Oku, and The Grocery

*A Culinary Tour

*Chasing the light at the sunrise at the Folly Beach Lighthouse

*A tour of Magnolia Plantation

*A carriage ride through downton Charleston

*A Pure Barre Class

*An impromptu maternity session on the beach with a woman that we had on met earlier that day!!!!

.....oh and did I mention we did all of that in 2.5 days!!!!!

The worskshop reunion was an absolute BLAST and it reinforces what my very favorite take away from the Pinkle Toes Workshop was....a GREAT group of friends and colleagues that I can bounce ideas off or and ask for advice from.  Seriously y'all Michele puts on an amazing workshop, but the culture of friendship and commradory that she supports and encourages amongst her workshop attendees is absolutey incredible.

I hope you all enjoy these few images from my trip....there are SOOOOO many more but after 4 shoots in 3 days this week this is all I can post for now ;)

Also, I love this shot of me taken by Rebecca Keller!  If you are in Raleigh be sure to check her out!

Now...go check out Heather's blog post!!!!!

The M Twins Fresh 48 Session Sneak Peek - Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer

This morning I met the "M" twins for their "Fresh 48" session.  These sweet babies were born at 35 weeks and 3 days late last week so they are a bit past the 48 hour mark, but that's okay because the point of these sessions is to capture your newest additions before leaving the hospital and that's exactly what we did!

Although this was my first Fresh 48 session with twins I have to say it was one of the easiest yet!  They slept almost the whole time and smiled more than any other newborns I've ever seen!

I hope you all enjoy this sneak peek of the "M" twins fresh 48 session.

Enjoy!

Over Memorial Day weekend I captured baby Early's beautiful Blessing ceremony underneath the trees at Fort Fisher.  Dressed in her mother's gown and surrounded by close family and friends Early's Blessing ceremony was beautiful and a true honor to document for her sweet family.

I started documenting the day before the ceremony in order to capture the sweet moments of Early being dressed in her mother's gown and being nursed before the ceremony.  After everyone was ready we traveled out to Fort Fisher for a lovely ceremony, and then back to their home for a few more family images.

I hope you all enjoy these images from Early's Blessing ceremony!
